Adventure Day

Today was a long long day. We started the day with breakfast in the hotel and devotions followed by a bus tour of the monuments of Paris. It was very informative and took us to see just about everything we wanted. That included: the crazy Parisian drivers who don't stop for anything, the American Consulate, many statues, the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, and great place for coffee and hot chocolate. Once the tour ended, a group went to Museum D'Orsay to explore some of the great impressionists, and another group went on a picnic and played some soccer, or futbol here. We had some down time which was used to get to know members of the team better. You find out you have a lot in common after talking for just a few minutes. We had devotions again, then went on a crazy adventure to find food which consisted of seeing a protest, the United States square, many street signs, and finding out how to properly cross the road (Sarah still needs a little help with this). We ended up near the Eiffel Tower which allowed us to go on a riverboat cruise, that took us all around Paris. We were able to see most of the city all lit up. This was a highlight of today for a few of us. Today proved to be a spectacular day where we were able to see the diversity in the city. Tomorrow as we head to explore some more, I imagine we will see even more. Please continue to pray for us as our days become longer and our nights become shorter.

What a great day of exploration in a great city. I apologize for confusing Sara Martin with Sarah Ormonde on my first comment two days ago. I'm really enjoying this blog. I, with great joy, continue to lift one and all in prayer.
